Photos are not uploaded
Background removal, face detection, cropping, recolouring, compression and print layout all run inside your browser. Your face image is never sent to our servers or any third party, and we never store or retain it. This isn't a policy choice — it's an architectural fact: this site has no backend that receives photos.
Where the models come from
The first time you use auto background removal, your browser downloads an open-source cutout model (~40MB) and a face-detection model from a public CDN and caches them locally. What's downloaded is the model files, not your photo. The data flows "CDN → you," never "you → us."
What we collect
We don't collect your photos or biometric data. Like most sites, server access logs may record anonymous technical details (browser type, rough region) for security and operations, and we may use privacy-respecting aggregate analytics to learn which pages help. We don't use any of this to identify you personally.
